I've always been interested in the complexity, tenacity, and resilience of others. My interest in the lives and stories of those around me began with an early love of reading which eventually led to a degree in English literature. After my own positive experiences in therapy as a child and then as a young adult after college, I became increasingly drawn towards the field of psychology. I found that my desire to support others, help others find joy, and curiosity eventually led me to pursue therapy as a career.

I earned my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Wright University, where I received training focused on strengths-based, trauma-informed therapy. My program was uniquely focused on social justice and emphasized bringing an understanding of different systems we exist under into the room with clients. As part of my training I worked with a variety of issues including substance use, gender exploration, bullying, depression, and anxiety in a school setting in Marin County and was able to work directly with underserved populations.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and primarily strengths-based. I enjoy bringing hope, joy, and humor into the room whenever possible and like to be straightforward and honest with my clients. When working with clients I like to draw from different modalities, including Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment, Relational, and Psychodynamic.

I like working with many different populations, especially adolescents, young adults, and couples who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, codependency, self-esteem issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, and attachment difficulties. I also enjoy exploring issues surrounding racial and cultural oppression, gender identity, and sexual identity. I believe therapy is a safe space for clients to explore, share, and grow and am honored to support you in your journey!
